Approving or Rejecting Applications
Once a user submits an application for a pass which has an approval flow of Once or Always, their application will move into a Pending state.
An administrator can Approve or Reject an application.
Approve Application
To approve an application, click the Approve button at the top of the application details page.
You can optionally choose whether to send an email notification by selecting or deselecting " Send an email notification to the user." This might be useful if the user is in-person and you'd rather hand them a printed receipt, or you're entering information manually.
Once the application is approved, it will moved to an Approved state. The user can view the application online as well as their receipt (if applicable).
Reject Application
To reject an application, click the Reject button at the top of the application details page.
You will be prompted to enter a reason for the rejection. That reason will be sent to the user in an email in addition to being displayed at the top of their application when they log into Barkpass.
The application will now be in a Rejected state.
Once the user makes changes and re-submits the application, the application will move back to a Pending state. You can then approve or reject the changes.
