Updating Documents and Certifications
All documents and certifications are tied to the context of an Application. This means a given "certification" (a combination of document and expiration date) might exist among any number of applications a customer has submitted.
In order to update a document or an expiration date for a certification, you'll need to perform that action within the context of an Application.
As an administrator
You can update pet documents and certifications for your customers by visiting a valid application for the pet. If you can't find an application for a pet, you can visit the Pet's detail page and then click an application from there.
Start by visiting the active application for the customer, and scrolling down to the pet for which you'd like to update the document and expiration date.
Open the dropdown at the right side of the pet's information and select from the options:
- Remove document
- Select new document
- Edit expiration date
As a customer
A customer is able to update a document by visiting any completed application and editing the document or expiration date, similar to how they completed the application initially.
