Collecting Custom Fields

You can collect custom data for Pets or Users, like Microchip ID or Service Dog status, by defining Custom Fields for your pass.

Creating Custom Fields

Go to your Pass Settings page and scroll down to Custom Fields. Click on "Add Custom Field."

Enter a field label, and select a field type.

Available field types are:

• Text
• Yes/No
• Date

Barkpass will likely add future field types in the future. If you have a new use case in mind, please let us know!

Marking a custom field as required

To mark a custom field as expired, expand the field by clicking on the name. Then, check the box marked "Required."

This will prevent the customer from saving their pet or user information until all required fields have been completed.
