Barkpass Transaction Fees

Barkpass a percentage of each transaction. This is typically inclusive of Stripe's default transaction cut, which is 2.9% of each transaction and 30 cents per transaction.

BarkPass applies a 2.1% fee on each transaction, making it a total of 5% plus 30 cents per transaction.

Pass Fees to Residents

You can now enable a setting per pass that shifts both Stripe credit card processing fees and BarkPass transaction fees to the resident. When enabled:

• Fees are automatically calculated and itemized at checkout.
• Residents see the total amount, including fees, before completing payment.
• Municipalities receive the full intended amount without absorbing processing costs.
