Restricting and Expiring Pet Registrations

Whenever a user completes an application for a pass and it is approved, a registration is created for each pet attached to the application.

At any point, you may wish to manually deactivate a pet's registration for a pass.

Registrations can be deactivated in two different ways:

Restricting Registrations

Administrators may restrict pet registrations. You may wish to do this because you don't want them to have access to the benefits of that pass anymore.

You can restrict a pet's registration by visiting an approved application in the admin and clicking the three dots next to the pet's name. Then, click "Restrict Registration."

You can reactivate a pet at any time by clicking "Reactivate Pet."

Expiring Registrations

Administrators may expire pet registrations. You may wish to do this because the pet's documents are expired, and you don't have automatic deactivation enabled.

You can restrict a pet's registration by visiting an approved application in the admin and clicking the three dots next to the pet's name. Then, click "Expire Registration."

You can reactivate a pet at any time by clicking "Reactivate Pet."

The user will be able to see when a pet's registration is restricted or expired by visiting their passes dashboard in Barkpass. Users also receive email notifications whenever a pass is expired (or reactivated).

Note: You can also mark entire applications inactive, or mark pets inactive.
